Christmas Project Idea #3

Give the gift of a homemade meal.  My inspiration for this gift idea was from a beautifully made Greek cookbook given to Blake and I as a wedding gift from our dear friend Elena.  I was in awe opening each page of this beautifully scrapbooked and laminated cookbook.  I want to share that feeling with your loved ones.  Here is a simple guide from my friend, Martha.  For an even better idea, attach your mini recipe book along with a dish featured in the book.  Perfect!

Perfect for Winter

These cutie booties speak for themselves.  Couldn't you imagine these on your bundle of joy this winter?  Enjoy this pdf pattern from Heather Bailey herself.

No Bad Apples in this Bunch

Remember when you were younger and you meticulously cut out models from fashion magazines, glued them to construction paper (for sturdiness) and then mixed and matched your favorite outfits from the pages to create your own one of a kind paper doll?  Did you die of excitement when American Girl dolls first came out with their own line of paper dolls, based on their historic counterparts of course?  If you answered yes to either of these questions, these beauts should be at the top of your Christmas wish list.  Coming this November to Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, and a Borders near you are The Black Apple's Paper Doll Primer.  Fiona, Elsie, and Jane will be the perfect addition to your (ah-em) I mean your daughter's collection.  Pre-order your set here today.  Make sure you check out theblackapple etsy shop for more wonderful goods.

Thanksgiving Feast Centerpiece

Danielle Thompson rocks, and her easy to make crafts are some of my favorite things to look at.  Okay, okay, so I don't actually have enough time to sit down and do all of them, but her online tutorials, blog, and digital kits are eye candy!

Check out these fun pumpkins, perfect for your Thanksgiving table.  Beautiful right?  Click here for her easy how-to.
